管道內窺鏡一般由控制器、升降臺、攝像頭、電纜、爬行器、照明幾部分組成，遙控升降臺調節攝像頭的高度，爬行器可以穿越障礙物、自如轉彎，遙控離合器可釋放車輪收回爬行器。可配置無盲區旋轉鏡頭或軸向固定彩色鏡頭，攝像頭攝像并記錄管道狀況，并可攜帶其他檢測裝置對管道內部進行檢測。
