對于硬管內窺鏡的維修和防護要有專門人員的管理，平時不用時要放在的包裝箱內，關節鏡硬鏡維修，里面有柔軟的海綿或其它軟性材料做防護。在擺放時要擺放整齊，不要交叉重疊的擺放。在運送內窺鏡時，要注意要避免相互的碰撞，應避免過分的顛簸，以免發生擠壓、摩擦、磕碰等損壞情況。
